"Old Friend"

 This was a commission. I love drippy watercolor and I felt it would work for a guitar.

Happy New Year! I can't believe it is 2026!! I have been getting calendars every year for a while and  I painted several horses in 2025 so that is what I used for each page. I still have a few left if interested.

I do love horses!

Pennisicola Florida Sketches

 

This year we went to Florida for a few days.  we loved the white sand and the ocean.

I worked on sketchbook while the girls played.

Fun visitors from Canada

I got a message from an online fb friend wanting to come by and sketch a day with me. They drove from Canada to Mexico with a stop here on their way and we had a blast.  Of course we all sketched cotton.

We visited a local ranch, and then spent time on our farm seeing the cotton and they rode the cotton stripper. they had a ball riding that huge machine.

I hope we can get back together someday. It was such a pleasure to have them stop by for a visit.
