Day 11- The Porch

This view was taken years ago in Morton, TX.  It was summer time
and the sun was so bright and it just made this an interesting little
painting.  This was done with Acrylics which is also foreign to me.
I enjoyed how quick it dried and the colors didn't mix up so much.

Day 10 -Wild Moose

This was a moose that we finally got to see on the last day while in Wyoming.  I wasn't able to get good close up shots.  I wanted to experiment with color so I just decided to do him orange.
It is 6x6 on gessobord like the others.
For sale on the Available Page.

Day 9- Days Gone By

'Day's Gone By'
This is old photo from years past. I don't have a clue where
I took it.  I have painted it a couple of times.  I just love the old grown
up building and gas pump. So far this is one of my favorites from
the 30 day challenge!

This Little church is near Ruidoso, NM, and I am sure it has been
photographed a million times! I have even sat in the (grave) yard,
and painted it. I got to go to a plein air workshop several years
 ago with Don Getz.
I am still struggling with the oil paint, but I plan on keeping on!
This ends the first week of the 30 day challenge.

Old Blue-Day 5

I love these old blue and rusty trucks. I am still struggling with
the color, not being used to oils, but I am going to keep challenging
myself, and try to learn. It is so much harder than watercolors!
It is 6x6 and available, with a display easel, and you can go to
'Available Work' tab at the top of the page and buy through Pay Pal.
