My Sketchbook Bag

I have tried several things to carry my stuff in, and I was not really happy with any of it, so I dug through some quilt fabric and picked out 2 companion pieces, and made my own.  I used a huge button from my Mother's Button jar. On the inside.. I made a brush/pencil/pen holder. I have my short handled travel brushes inside. along with pencils & pens. It is big enough,
9.5 x10.5 with a long handle to hold my small palette, sketchbook, and whatever else I want in it.

This is turned wrong side out for you to see the inside.

Suzy (from one Suzie to another), I have been searching and searching for a bag to take to Italy in April and have yet to find the right bag. I think you have hit on a great idea. Of course, I might have to have more than one...
I love your "about me" statement. I am thankful too for being able to sketch. It is a blessing I hope will bless others. Your blog is fantastic!

This is awesome Suzy. How clever and inventive of you to make your own bag for your supplies.

Suzy, a friend and I are going because we just decided to do it. We met in Kate's group. I'd love to have you join us if you are serious...I'd ask my friend first, but if you are interested let me know and we'll talk about it.

Glad you've found the right one.. I keep looking and it would help if I didn't try to take it all with me.
