Update on Wyoming Trip

I am so far behind on posting. I had planned on posting each night while gone but was too exhausted at night.
I took lots of photos and will post a few. I had such fun meeting the art colony artist, Jane Freeman,Janet Belich,  Helen Shideler, Ellie Sethman and Marilyn Wear.  We were so excited, Helen got 2 nd place in the watercolor show and Marilyn won the overall big prize which is she gets to go free next year! When the workshop was over 4 of us stayed over 3 days and went to Yellowstone and the Tetons. We saw so many animals and beautiful streams of water.  Birds etc. it was such an awesome trip. We had great instructors. Lots of decisions and choices on what to do.
Too many really. Robert Bateman world famous wildlife artist was there painting and lecturing. It was an honor to meet him. Along with other artist...John and Suzie Seery Lester, Carl Purcell, Lee cable, John Phelps, Wanda Mum, David Rankin along with others. There was 176 artists there to paint.  I hope to go back!

After the rain.  A couple seconds of sun!

Absolutely stunning photos, Suzy. That first photo with the fence heading into the distance is a must paint. Will you do it?

Christmas Angel

This is watercolor and gouache. I used a stencil and lifted parts of the background hoping it would look like stained glass.  I posted it on...
