I was looking through some old photos, and stumbled across this close up of Kens flag painting.
I was teaching a class on negative painting, and used this for our class. I love to do this kind of painting.
Since it is still July, I thought I would just add it!

July Flag
July Flag
5x7 watercolor
I have always loved watercolor, and due to my new art form using the magazine pages, I haven't had much of a chance to'practice.' I have some new watercolor paper that I wanted to try (Bockingford) so I cut some 5x7's and drew this flag off and painted it. It didn't take long since it was small. I do like the new paper!I bought it to cut up for a sketch book so I will be using more of it.
I still love to paint our flag.
