This is the little red scooter that was on this little snow kids list.
He is taking his girl friend for a spin.
I love these scooters, and always wanted
one. I would love to have one of the old ones.
Don't know where I would ride it, but
I just think it would be such fun.
Christmas is only five days away. Wow,
time sure flies by in a hurry.

US Mail Christmas Cards

I was driving home from Lubbock, TX last year during the holidays, and saw this wonderful mail box, so I turned around and went back and took pictures of it, so I could paint it. I am always looking for new Christmas card ideas. We have a mail box, but I never seem to get it decorated. If I did, a tractor would probably hit it and ruin it.
(Our Grandson wiped out our last one! )
My sister works in the Post office, and I always think of her when it comes to mail 'stuff'. But also have a feeling for rural mailboxes like I do clothes lines, and laundry hanging out.

Christmas is Coming!

Christmas is almost here! Once Thanksgiving Dinner is over, people start shopping, putting up decorations, etc. Anything that has to do with Christmas is such fun!  My prayer is that we will be sure and remember the REAL reason that we celebrate this very special holiday. I have done a lot of Christmas images, and don't ever want it to lose it's special meaning. I am so blessed that He gives me the ideas, and the images so that i can share them, as well as the true meaning that we have Christmas!

So here is #2  of my Christmas paintings, hopefully I will post a new one every other day or so.
