I have been a member since the late 80's! I think I have held every office there is! When I joined I knew nothing about art except that I loved it, and wanted to paint so bad. I had always drawn and doodled....always staying busy 'making or creating' something. I am sad to say that several of the women who were awesome artists that helped me so much, are no longer with us. I learned a lot from those women who had been right where I was at that time. They were always so encouraging! I hope that I can be a mentor also, and help those who are just starting. I love to share whatever I have learned.
This poor zebra has a ways to go, but I will keep on, until I think it will be ok! Maybe I will post him when he or she is finished.
I will be in Clovis, NM tomorrow night, doing a demo. Think I need to start something else, since this poor guy is not looking so good!
