Santa Fe #17

This is the church at Chimayo, NM.  Is in the Santa Fe Area.  A well known church there.
People from all over go just to see it.  I wanted to mainly show the gate, so one side of the bell tower is left out. This is a beautiful place to be.  The back is very interesting too. Lots and lots of crosses hanging everywhere. all over the fences and columns. People leave them there with their loved ones names and prayers on them.  Chimayo has a wonderful place to eat too!
This is 9x6 on gessobord.
All of my Gates and Doors will be available at this address, as well as other art.

Chimayo is also the home of "Chimayo red" chile, the best doggoned red chile in the world!
We need to make a trip to this town, we bought Chimayo Red from a local farmer from Chimayo last November at the Santa Fe Farmers Market, love it!
