Tool Box

Last year I did a tool box painting. It was small and I wanted to do a larger one.
This one has screw drivers in it. I like the yellow in it.

It is poured with lots of masking.

New Mexico Watercolor Society Show

I am excited that I was accepted in the New Mexico Watercolor Society show coming up in Oct.  The juror was Linda Doll. 'Cement Man' and 'Tool Box' got in the show.
The cement man was here pouring cement and I ask if I could take a photo of him, and he was all grins! So I took pics with him and his dog, but just painted the top part. I wanted it to be about him and the cement mixer.
The Tool Box is from a photo I took in Canton TX. I did a sketch of it, then I did a small painting, and decided I would do a big watercolor.  These are both poured paintings. Not a lot of brush work on them. They were fun to do.
The Cement Man is 22x28 framed, and the Tools are 24x24 framed.
