Sketches of Cabo Trip
In July my daughter and I took our son's daughter, Karla on a trip for her graduation. I found a sketchbook there in a shop so I am trying to fill it with stuff from our trip. We had such a good time and have many photos yet to do. We have several fun stories as well. I hope that it will always be a special memory for Karla and Keri. I know it already is for me.

Portales NM Watercolor Workshop
This past week end I was in Portales, NM for a 2 day watercolor workshop. We had a good group, and had a lot of fun. Everybody did an awesome job. We started out with 10 but due to some health issues and other things, we had 5.
We concentrated on rust, and old metal, and lots of grass.
To do rust, use Kosher salt on your wet paint!
it works great.
There is a program you can download that is really good, if you are interested. It is called RoynaSoft Poster Printer.
Showing them the RoynaSoft Pro Poster prog.

Cabo San Lucas Trip
Keri, my daughter, and Karla, my granddaughter and I went to Mexico for her graduation trip.
We had a ball. It was hot, a heat we aren't used to, but thank goodness for sunscreen!
I was surprised to see our American Flag flying there, along with their flag.
Karla wanted to swim with the dolphins, so we did that on Wed. We rode a boat out to the arch and the strip of beach there. There were beautiful colorful fish that came up to eat. The pelicans were my favorite. I loved them. They seem to have a 'don't' care attitude. We went to the Glass factory and Karla got to blow glass. We also did the sunset cruise and it was awesome. We just had a great time.
