Here are more portraits. Some of them I have done more than once to see how I could change things up a bit
I am enjoying painting portraits. Some are friends, some are from television and some are from the Sktchy app. I am using watercolor and sometimes I use some gouache with it.
I will be teaching this for Cheap Joes Art Stuff online starting Oct. 31.
I am honored to be invited to be the featured artist at the Lubbock, TX arts festival sponsored by the Lubbock Arts Alliance. The theme is Red White and Blue! One of my favorite themes. I started painting flags about 1990. I still love adding them to my work whether it is a still life or just an addition to something. Even just using those colors is fun to do.
If you are in the area April 9-10 stop by and say hello!
I am so excited to have been invited to be the featured artist for the Lubbock Arts Festival in Lubbock Texas. I was so shocked that they asked me. The theme is red white and blue. I love to paint flags and patriotic themes. If you are close to Lubbock in April drop by and say hello!
I only got 3 small paintings done this Christmas. The joy Angel was sold. I really love painting Christmas joy and the meaning of Christmas. Thanks for all the support during 2021 and Happy New Year. 2021 had a lot of blessings and miracles. I am praying that 2022 will be a great year for us all.
