Torn Paper Collage

I wanted to have another 'girl-y' boot for the Lubbock Arts Festival,

that is this week end, in Lubbock,TX.  I will be setting up and working on 

a Torn Paper Collage, demonstrating how it is done.  This is such fun for me,

you can just be free, and do whatever you want to do! The only draw back is 

the mess it makes, and sticky fingers.

I started this in Hobbs for a demo, and finally got it finished.  I took it to the art retreat in Ceta Canyon, but just couldn't get through with it. I still had work to do on it at home.  I will take it to the Arts Festival this week end in Lubbock, TX, and maybe it will go to a new home, or bike shop!
I am looking forward to the festival.  They say over 150 artists will be there with their art, and I was ask
to set up, and work each afternoon, so people can see how it is done, etc.  It is kind of scary to think about it, but am excited for the opportunity, and I know it will be a lot of fun. If you are close to the civic center on  (April8-10) Friday, Saturday or Sunday afternoon, stop by and say hello!
