James Gurney posted a challenge...Paint a dead vehicle. One that doesn't run. Car or truck.
I wanted to do this old vehicle for a while so I set up there and did
it. It had to be painted on location, and you had to post a photo of
your easel, etc. This old international is in Plains, TX.
I started out trying to use oils but I don't paint enough with oil to
know what to do, so I ended up using a sketchbook, and drawing it with
my fountain pen and ink, then painted with watercolor and a little
gouache.

July Picnic
This just reminds me of a summer picnic. I started this as a demo for the
Women's Club in Lubbock, TX and finally had a chance to finish it. Cherry Pie is my favorite!

This Little Piggy
I am still working on some AG collages for the 2018 Calendar. This little piggy was fun to do. He's taking the time to smell the 'flowers' as well as have a little nibble!
This is 9x12 on stretched canvas mixed media/collage. Paint and magazine pages.
