This is one of the very first of my snow people. The Snow Nativity.

 

Tokio Texas Post Office

This is also an older painting.  There is or was a little community between Brownfield and Plains TX called Tokio. There was a church, Post office, school, and 2 stores.  Every time we went to Brownfield we passed this old wonderful post office, and one day I stopped and got photos when the wind and sand was blowing so hard.  I am so glad I did, because it has been torn down.  I am still sad about it being gone. All the buildings are falling down. Is so sad to see such a wonderful little community close up.
This painting was poured. I stared with yellow, then the blues, and reds, and it just came out cold and dreary so I turned it into a snow scene.

The Rocking Chair

This is another older Christmas painting.  Keri had this chair on her porch for a while. I did this
on yupo paper. If you are a watercolorist, you know what I am talking about. It is like painting on plastic!

Time to Decorate

I am so behind, and  haven't even decorated or fixed cards! Here we are just a few days away!
Hope  you are enjoying your holidays, as we are nearly there! Our daughter is coming the 23rd, so maybe she will help me cook! and the rest of the kids are coming the 26th.

Picking out the tree-iPad drawing

I did this quickly last night. Normally it takes me quite a while. It was just a fun thing to draw. 

I love doing the happy little snow people. I hope you are all enjoying the real meaning of Christmas !
