I repainted one of my sketches for a facebook friend. It was in my sketchbook and didn't want to cut it out.

Italy Sketchbook.
I have been so behind with computer stuff! It has been a month since I posted...
I have been filling a book just with Italy memories, and am almost thru. I have so many, I just made a collage of some of them. There are so many wonderful places and things we did, that I can't show it all. The wonderful 'real' pizza we had! Damin, the Pizza chef was awesome..Karolina our hostess and chef was wonderful. Dawid, Karolina's husband was so precious and took good care of everybody. I loved seeing all the bikes, and clothes hanging out of the windows! And the concert! and food...so many things.
Come go back with us in 2020!

Dictionary Art
I have done a few more pages from the dictionary too. I am using watercolor and gouache as well as drawing them with ink.
The paper really works great, even though it is pretty old.

New Paintings
I had more eye surgery for skin cancer on my eyelid, and had to have it sew shut for 7 weeks. While I was going through that I kept sketching and painting. These three portraits I did with only one eye. It was a challenge. I am proud of how they turned out.
The first one, was a waiter in Albuquerque NM and he let me take his photo! His name is Justin.
The second one I took in Florence Italy, and the last one was a man in Las Cruces reading a sign. The sun was going down and his hair was really crazy!

Italy Sketches
l am starting a new sketchbook, hopefully day 1- day 10 of our Italy trip. These are some from around the villa and the church down the road. The gate post was at the back of the beautiful old church. The clock, the cross, etc. was at the front. The red flower and vase was on the table at the villa. by the beautiful pool. Karolina and Dawid know how to make people feel good and relax. What an awesome experience.

More Sketches
I am really behind with my blog. The door knocker was done with an ink brush. I saw this young man on facebook at a stock show so I ask his Mom if I could sketch it. It was a fun sketch!
