This is T-Bone, my daughters sweet little dog. It is painted with oil on an orange gessoboard.
The next one is our china cups. I painted it on a black gessobord, experimenting with different backgrounds. I really prefer red or orange.
The quail is painted on a black underpainting also. We have been having blue quail come in the yard to eat. They are so pretty. This one was perched on an old chair that we have in the yard.
