I am trying to get better with portraits. This was just an ad we got in the mail so I tried to draw the man on it.

Thistle and Rust

Another Rusty painting in preparation for Las Cruces NM.  I love old cars.  This one is on the side of the road close to Sweetwater, TX.

SOLD OUT

I am so excited! I just can't believe it!  My workshop in Italy is sold out.  I never thought it would be.  We are all so excited about our October adventure.  I plan on posting(I hope i can)  so you can go along with us!

Old Camper

This was a messed up page in my sketchbook, so i coated it with a layer of Casein, then when dry, I drew this scene from New Mexico with a pencil, and painted it with Casein.  My first Casein painting and it is hard to manipulate! Plus I don't like the smell.

Old Vehicles

I am getting ready to teach a workshop in Las Cruces NM, and they wanted to do old vehicles and rust! So here are a few new things in preparation.

Commission

I was asked to do a horse for a fb friend.  It is her neice on her horse. I was a little skeptical but tried it, and she seemed pleased with it.

I hope she's happy with it!

30 Day Sketchbook Challenge

I did the 30 day sketchbook challenge. This is a collage of the 30 days plus 2 days in February.
I have decided to include my sketches along with the watercolors and collages from  now on, instead of having a separate blog.  Now it will all be together.
We had a prompt for everyday. I did skip a couple days, due to not being home or not wanting to draw something weird.
I enjoyed the ones I did though!  I do love to draw while watching Television.  Drawing everyday has made such a difference!
